Sometimes spiritual teachings arrive quietly and sit buried in our hearts for years. There is a prayer my teacher shared with is long ago that seems to come up when needed:
"May all my speech and idol talk be mantra and prayer.
May all my hand's actions be mudra and medicine.
May all my eating and drinking be offerings and oblations unto thee.
May all my laying down be prostrations before thee.
May all my pleasures be as dedicating my entire life unto thee.
May everything I do be taken as thine worship.
oh Divine Mother. "
To me the Divine Mother is the feminine, yin aspect of existence itself — the cosmic womb, pure darkness, the receiver, the knower, the feeler, and the intuitive intelligence within all things. She has many name, Mary, Isis, Gaia, Ishtar, Devi, Shakti, etc. Each of us carries both the masculine and feminine principles within us, along with the subtle energetic field between them through which creation unfolds. In this way, we are small reflections of the creator itself, moving through life using our will and emotions to animate our human experience.
When you hear masculine and feminine here, don't think of boy and girl.
Go beyond this and think of aspects.
Push vs Pull
On vs Off
Positive vs Negative
In vs Out
Conscious vs Subconscious
Light vs Dark
Hot vs Cold
Loud vs Quiet
Extrovert vs Introvert
Yang vs Yin
Objective vs Subjective
Positron vs Electron
Give vs Receive
There is also something there in the middle.
The "vs".
The ether, or plasma, the cosmic web holding all the strings of existence together.
Back on earth, most of us have only been taught to move through life in the yang way — pushing harder, working longer, climbing the ladder, and constantly striving to get this diploma, get that degree, get the job, get the spouse , house, and on and on. Kids may experience it as well in school with tests or being involved in competitive sports. Many of us grind our self out in an endless spiral of trying to achieve things, and yet we are never fulfilled. We are exhausted trying to acquire the next hot thing that is going to quiet our hearts. What many of us were never taught is how to lean into the feminine wisdom of life.
The wisdom of divine feminine is simple and profound: sometimes life is not about pushing harder, taking on more tasks or carrying more burdens. Sometimes it is about laying the heaviness down by judging yourself less on the outcome of things. By learning to say no instead of just giving in to others. Planting the seeds of your intentions in your heart and knowing that when your heart is aligned in coherence with divine resonance; and you are not ressitenting the frequncy you encarnated here to ennact, abundance becomes a harvest of beauty, peace, and service to all beings.
You can trust in her grace by honoring your own light. Share what you know with love rather than force. You don't need to push, race or constantly compare yourself to others. You can trust in knowing that all is aligned in your greatest favor, always. Not in a spiritual bypassing way because you still have to do your work. If you want the fruit, you have to plant and till the soil. You have to tend to it for months before you harvest and it is not different with learning to meditate or do push ups. You must do your work and tend to yourself. And that is when the boundaries come in to place. It is not selfish to stick to your goals. You can do your work quietly, you don't need to shout your plans to world, or tell everyone at work, or brag to your family and social media. You are simply doing what needs to be done to steer your ship in the direction you want to go. When we learn to value and respect ourselves — not selfishness, but reverence for the life force within us, we embody that wisdom. When we respect our energy, set boundaries, and care for ourselves, we naturally repel what drains us and attract what nourishes the soul.
Like the lotus flower rising from the darkness of the mud, the Divine Mother reminds us that you don't need to premeditate every part of the path. You can unblock your manifestations when you trust her to be hosting the harvest in your favor. Simply know that the flower is coming. Do not ask, not beg, not plead, but have an un-waivering knowing that all is coming in for your highest honor and good.
Some souls feel deeply that divine truth cannot be confined to one doctrine or system. They are lovers of freedom, beauty, and the great mystery knowing the highest trusth resontates from within our own heart's and being's and connot be found out "there". The Divine Mother whispers often to those kinds of hearts, reminding all that while we must still plant the seeds and tend the garden of our lives, we do not have to race or compete with the world. We can move with devotion, patience, and trust knowing she is silently there waiting to receive our thoughts and plans, our joys and pain — allowing us to plant our intentions quietly in her fertile soil, offering them to the great cosmic womb from which all life emerges through pure love. When we remember this we can experience life to be less forcing and more of an unfolding.
May the Divine Mother untangle our hearts from fear and guide us toward the peaceful unfolding of our purpose.
with Love,
Aja
